We are writing this letter to tell you what a pleasure it was to work with Darrell Thomas and Robert Nelson Construction in the process of building our home from 2007-08.

Darrell is the ultimate professional. But he is much more than that. From the moment we met him over a year before we began building our home, we felt that we could trust him to protect our best interests and give us sound advice. Within a few minutes of meeting Darrell we didn' t want to work with anyone else. Our intuition did not mislead us, as we came to appreciate him more with each passing phase of the building. Please allow us to explain in more specific detail.

This is the first home we have ever built, and we had heard horror stories about the problems encountered in building. But Darrell was more than willing to work with us to guide us through each and every step of the way, always friendly and courteous in answering our many uninformed questions. He was thorough and respectful, and gave us explanations that were clear and reassuring to novices like ourselves. He made sure that all the sub contractors completed their jobs on time, so that the delays we anticipated were never more than a slight variation from the schedule. In addition, the workmanship was of the highest quality, and any concerns were resolved by Darrell in a calm and professional manner. In fact, some things.were completed earlier than expected. Even after the completion of the home, he has been "on hand" to review our questions and arrange for any post-building adjustments. He is always prompt in returning calls or coming to our home, and acts like he has nothing else that is more important than our wants and desires. On several occasions Darrell advised us against more costly options, and worked with us to shave costs in many ways. To summarize, Darrell Thomas made what is apparently a stressful experience into one that was very enjoyable and rewarding.

We also found working with Robert Nelson Construction extremely positive. All of the people associated the this company, including Mr. Nelson himself, his son Mathew, the office manager Connie and all others were always courteous, professional, and made us feel that they were watching out for our best interest every step of the way. We feel very fortunate to have worked with this outstanding group of professionals. All who come to visit our home are very impressed with the workmanship and quality of construction. We will always treasure our experience.

As a result of this positive experience, we have recommended Robert Nelson Construction and Darrell Thomas to our friends who are considering building. We would not hesitate to build with them again, although we can't imagine ever leaving om beautiful home!
